Wow! They all look really great. Very clean. I think that I am liking black carpet and seats. Red and black door panels and red trim. Keep posting if you dont mind....
The coupes get away with more creativity than the convertibles do. The fixed roof makes a hugh difference.
Here is the interior in my 86, black/red combo. Seats are Corbeau A4 leather seats I went with all black trim and red carpet. Otherwise, I think it is just too much red.
(I used black panels and replaced the carpet with the red carpet that came with the carpet set)
The seats are manual (no more power). I used Corbeau's double locking seat rails (as I was planning on racing the car after building it up, the purchase of my 08 changed those plans). The slide back and forward and they recline (recline handle is on the inside close to the tunnel, C4's and C5's need them installed this way to clear the seat belt assembly. Essentially, the passenger seat becomes the driver seat and vise versa.) These seats also have lumbar support (pump up bulb assembly that I have tucked between the seat and the outside frame rail of the car). Installation is really easy...unbolt the old seats/seat rails, bolt the new seats to the new rails and bolt back into the car. 30 minute project. Any questions, let me know.
