I could not spend that kind of money on something I had to beat the $hit out of, to make it fit.
The welds look like a grade schoolers work.
I can't weld very good in my eyes but can easily duplicate that 'work'..LOL and no one in the racing biz wouls ever accept that fitment mess. I was looking at those for this winter but think I will pass as i have no need for that much aggravation
Gregg i totally agree with your complaint! i dislike sellers that are there to sell only, with out good customer service after the product is sold!
i have had that with rims i bought, they flaked (the chrome) and the place took 3 turns to balance them correctly, even then they couldn't care less! i ended up taking it to a local tyre shop and they did it right first go! amazing hey!
i am curious as to whether the 2 into 1 bit actually goes into the 1 pipe or does it overlap the 1 pipe?
as over here in OZ we have a company called Pacemaker, and they claim to be the only company in Australia that weld their pipes this way! they showed evidence of the flow properties compared to other makes! there is a huge difference! (no turbulence)
are your headers/pipes like this?( makes the exhaust gas flow uninterrupted)!
Engine->Headers->Pipe->Back of Car.
so to explain more the direction of the flow and pipe away from the engine always goes inside the connecting pipe!
