I searched with no luck. But has anybody used a car wrap instead of repainting there car. http://www.topwraps.com or a similiar company.
I dont want to advertise anything but a all black wrap would be nice.
What do you guys think? It will be my daily driver soon i dont feel like putting a ton of money in it when i have a 98 that i would rather put money in to.
It's something different. Hard to guess what the cost will be, but is your paint on the 94 faded or what is it that makes you feel it needs paint? If it's only faded you could have a professional detail shop buff and polish it for probably around $150 - $200.
I was thinking that nascar and other racers must use them because it would be to costly and time consumeing to repaint every time they bumped or rubbed or wrecked. Could be wrong havent researched that far yet. Stil waiting on quote or call back. its only been a day or so.
Keep us updated on what you find out on the cost. Also, in the mean time, you might want to stop by a reputable body shop and see what they'd charge to re-clear the bumper and buff the rest of the car. Good Luck.
I will be wrapping my 93 in the next 2-4 weeks. Send me a direct email and I will send the before and after pics along with what I think someone should charge ( I own a sign shop...)
This was 20 or so years ago when there was Earl Schieb and MAACO paint shops around almost any medium sized town. A guy I knew was wanting to sell his car and thought that putting a cheap paint job on his POS car would net him an additional grand. He took it to MAACO... I wish I had a picture of the "Premiere" job he got for $199.99...
They painted over all the chome, including the bumpers. It gets better, there was a pile of dried birdcrap on the trunk - the crackerjack team didn't ever remove the birdcrap, they painted over it!
Later the same painters got a government job - you can see that their work ethic stayed the same...
