headlight issues

headlight issues
I just replaced my headlight bushings and my headlights do not want to open all the way
What gives?When i turn my lights on the motor will run for ever that is why i replaced the bushings.Now the will only open about half way,what am i missing

I just did mine and am still learning how they work. Before I took mine apart, I scribed everything for positioning. I scribed the gear in the motor for replacement. Im no expert, but maybe outside gearing 180 off. Or maybe inside gear off. Im sure someone here will be able to help you with more info. Good luck.

Hey Mike, Not to jack this guys thread, but have you had any issues with your convertable top? how are they for quality and operation?

I bought my vette new in 89. I have put 3 tops and 2 windows over the years. I buy the Hartz tops from MAM. They are good. JMO...
