You've been watching the early morning car shows....haven't cha?
I think the show was GEARZ that claimed that the E3 plugs fire in a downward pattern giving a better ignition of the charge. They are claiming better fuel economy and idle.

That show caught my attention because they were upgrading a C6 vette with a supercharger, 14" brakes, exhaust, wheels, and graphics to compete with the ultra expensive ZR1. They claim 600rwhp! It was a great show.

I would like to add that I did a google search on these plugs and thus far they are getting negative reviews. In particular. . . from the Mustang crowd. I also understand that they are NOT platiniums. I"ll stick with my iridiums until the reviews turn positive.

Hey Jimi I was wondering how the Iridiums did. I am a REAL fan of copper plugs, but our cars are Platinum stock so that's what it gets. Did you see a good change with the Iridiums?

Yeah I watch the show with my 13 yr old he's a true gear head and since he was 5 he has wanted to be an engineer and work at the corvette plant in Bowling Green, and I was curious about them but i think ill stay with the stock plugs.

Thanks for your input.

But I am curious about the Iridiums as well.

lol, as long as they are not BOSCH plugs! Lord I cannot tell you how many poor idle and driveability issues I have fixed just by throwing peoples brand new sets of Bosch platinums or trick plugs on the ground and installing stockers

The Iridiums just carry most of the same characteristics of the plats but with claims of improved burn. So I'm curious if there are any real world experience stories.

For my LT1, The NGK TR55 copper core plugs do everything I need them to do. Skip the gimmick plugs.

P.S: Don't forget the anti-seize for your plug threads.

A spark plug that has a fancy name and is overpriced won't give you anything more than a stock plug performance wise. Some may last alittle longer, but that's about it.A spark is a spark, and that's all a plug needs to do.

I may have to try em' this change. I'll know by the first as the new opti, cap, rotor, and wires are going in as well. I have just found nothing works as well as copper plugs and the scope spark lines show it too. I have no issues changing them every 30,000 instead of every 100,000. I'm pretty sure my car still has the original everything in it from the opti to the plugs....

No issues at all with the NGK's. The plugs in my car barely have 10,000 miles on them. The car fires up without hesitation.
