Anyone ever have problems with the Vette junk yard Vette 2 Vette?
I read many posting on this forum that recommended them. I bought a part that had a core charge. I sent the core back and cannot get Vette 2 Vette to credit my credit card back for the core.
I have sent emails, voicemails, and spoken with many different people there they always say I will call you back and never do.
That sucks man. I bought a door from them and it went OK. There was some damage and several layers of paint (they said it was perfect and only one layer of paint....) that the body shop had to work out, but it worked out ok.
I bought numerous parts from them for my '85 when I owned it (and my '93 is rolling on a set of 1990 wheels I bought from them). I've been pleased with the quality of service and prompt delivery. No complaints here. I would buy from them again.

Anyone had this issue before?
After several attempts, contact your credit card company and tell them your story. I'll bet it works.
I bought some parts from them and one was damaged. They wouldn't return/answer any e-mails. Before that they were instantly answered. I would never use them again.
I bought from them in the past. I asked for a picture of the item before I bought it and they got all pissy about it. I said ok I'll buy it as they didnt want to do that because I needed the part. Luckily when the part arrived it was in decent shape. Would I buy from them again? Maybe
I know the guy that owned it was tring to sell the place ,maybe their are new owners.I bought a front end from them, back a few years ago.
No problems.

Yes, Jason...Now that you mentioned it I now get correspondence from a woman named Tobey...I bet Jason sold it....He was very Good & Reputable.
I bought a part from them and after 14 days I never received it. After contacting them, I was informed that they had not pulled the part yet and it would probably be another two weeks before they could get to it. This after I had already paid for it. I reversed the charges on my credit card and cancelled my order.
I'll never buy from them again.

I have had several transactions with Jason and have been pleased. I drove to his shop to pick up a C4 vert hardtop and got to look around. It is in an old Coca Cola bottling factory with lots of room. He has an amazing array of C4 and C5 parts and probably C6 stuff by now.
At that time he had a brother in law working for him who was a bit of a cretin. If I recall, Jason was pretty much forced to hire the dude by his family as no one else would take him on.
Jason and his wife are very busy. The phone is constantly ringing and it was difficult to have a full conversation with them. He also has project Corvettes spread around the place. It looked to me like he had too many plates in the air at one time.
According to Jason, Gordon Killebrew has been working with him to educate him in the ways of the ZR1 (C4). He also said that Gordon has been to his shop and tested some of the used parts for him such as the VATS control modules.
I think it is wise to pay with a credit card in case you have problems.
