Keyless Entry Installed!
Those of you who were interested in my keyless entry system installation will be thrilled to hear that it is done and it works. You can see all the details on the original thread, here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=215927
BTW, I took a gamble and went to http://www.fcc.gov, sure enough you can look up an FCC ID number and figure out who makes something. I did this and e-mailed the company who made the system to see if they can tell me how to make the horn work.

Cool...glad to hear it went in well.
What kind of range are you getting out of the FOB's? Any security system problems?
People had concerns on how the system would work with VATs...everything good??
For those that don't know, this keyless entry system Nathan put in was specifically designed to work with '84 to '92 Vettes.

I don't have any pictures because I don't have any access to my friend's digital camera right now.
So far there aren't any issues with the security system. Just be sure you unlock it before you pop the hatch. It's kinda strange I was expecting a lock and an unlock button, with the third being for a hatch release. Well the first button is both lock and unlock, the second button is the hatch, I haven't figured out the third yet, it doesn't seem to do much of anything.
I hope the company will be kind enough to return my e-mail. If not there is always a phone number I can try ;)
