pke problem
Hey Guys,
I am new to corvettes, I have a 94 torch red coupe. the pke system was working fine however now it is sounds like it is just cycling on and off, as if the door looks are being engaged. the door open light comes on and off. I tried to deactivate the system and it still happens. I am a newbie tech wise so can't do anything my self ...(yet) so much help is needed and apprieciated.

Sounds like you may have a sticking door/ajar switch. Their located at the back of the door & have a push type pin. You might try pulling the pin out slightly with a pair of pliers. They are fragile. A little lube may help. Don't know if this is the problem, but it's a good place to start.
Check both doors.
In the event they are bad & have to be changed, it's not necessary to remove the door panel.
