I need help with my 1991 corvette coupe, the cigarette lighter stop working. I have checked the fuses all are in good working order, also pop the center console check the connection there is no power getting to the orange cable. My question is maybe a secondary fuse box exist or a relay. If somebody have suggestion please fill free. Thanks....
Alex, the short answer is yes the secondary fuse panel is behind the glovebox. You will need to wedge your head underneath the passenger side hush panel to get to it (Its a real PITA). If I remember the Accessory plug wire fuze is there but im not sure if it feeds the cigarette lighert. Grap a flashlight and take look. Its is hard to find.
According to Page 262 of the cars owners manual thats where you need to go. Fuzes number 6 and 7 are your target fuzes.

As Jake BLues said, (sort of). "Fix the lighter or it ain't gonna be the new Bluesmobile!"
I have owned 2 corvettes and neither lighter has worked. but its 160 miles to Chicago i got a half pack cigarettes, half tank gas, its dark and we are wearing sunglasses. HIT IT
In my '88 the Cigar Lighter is fused by the CTSY/CLK FUSE which also powers the glove box light.
There is a 15-cavity connector near the shift control lever from which power branches to the lighter and the light; test the Orn wire there for power. It should be hot all the time.
Was right on the problem with the cigarette lighter not working after checking the main fuse box was at the auxiliary box fuse # 7 which is located under the glove box at the passenger side. It took me about an hour to fix the problem. The fuse box is very difficult to get to but I have fun. Thanks to all the members for their INFO, Goldcylon you rock...
