Should be a hatch release button there.

Are you talking about the back side of the arm rest? The armrest lift areas for the door console?

Should be more that an indent if the switch is not there would it not be a hole where the switch was susposed to go?

Ok lets see what the OP comes up with as a response.

I understand the question I dont think the drivers door side hatch release was pulled from a MY1996 and only the console switch remains? I know there is no hatch release on the passenger like the 90-93s have. SO I have to ask again if the swtich is gone there will be more that a detent. There would be a detent with a hole in the center is all im saying. Which is why Im asking is he asking about the rear of the door dentents underneath the door console. Or is there and actual Hole in the backside of the door. Then yes I agree his hatch release button is missing.

Annndd OP PMed. Let close this one out lol
