OMG to take that little pump out was a pain :mad . the book made it sound so easy but nothing was easy. well ill take it back it was easy all the was to pulling off the water pump. then it toon us 2 hrs to remove it. 1 bolt :mad :mad . WE couldnt see it right under the pully and was in a tight spot. well atlease we did it and fix it :)
But we forgot to tighten the fuel lines :jester :nono: BUT we fixed that after we smelled gas and it was pooring everywhere. thank god it didnt blow up me. well i had to share this with you all.

Congratulations...I recently replaced my water pump also...only because it had to come off to replace the timing chain & gears. I didn't know how old it was, and I thought it would be better to replace it while I was in there, than to have to pull everything apart again later.
 yer car doesn't like you cuz you never did a photo shoot with it and your gf lounging around on it in a nice bikini for all your corvette forum brethern to gawk at :D
actually even if ya do that i bet it'll still leak umm.... hmm is there a hose or something that might need replacing??
You should try a pressure test of your cooling system. I thought my water pump was leaking and it turned out to be a short "U" shaped bypass hose right in front of the throttle body. The coolant was leaking down the front of the engine giving the appearance that the pump was the culprit. Worth a shot to check the hoses.
Possibly it's from bad cosmic reverberations from not using spellcheck on forum posts. :jester Sorry bro, couldn't resist. But seriously, what I did on mine was to bypass that bypass hose(I did this mod). One less hose to worry about now.
