Did you leave the A.S.R. on ? Did you do a burnout or drive around the water ?
He couldn't even answer if he ran this 13.4X with the A.S.R. on in his stock 96. Here's a hint good luck trying that

yes, but so can my daughter's Corsica...actually, "on the highway" my daughter will do better in long runs as the corsica is "invisible" to LEO's and can run faster without being "interviewed".

back/day, C3's were built with both big and small block engines...small blocks were fun but no comparo with big engined cars...my 68 435 hp coupe with only side mount headers would run high 12's all day long and hide from my "fast-for-today's-world" C4...not even gettin' into what the 68 was after bolting the tri-carbs onto an L88 "crate" motor ($2400 back then IIRC)

VetteDriven,

With all due respect, with the series of posts you have made in the past few days, you have lost whatever credibility you have.

I often visit an online community that focuses on national security issues. We have a lot of ex-military, ex-policy planning folk, and a variety of business and community leaders. Every once in a while, we get someone talking up their military background, perhaps to ingratiate themselves with the group. However, this person, not really of that background gets "outed" as a fraud and not military at all by the people who lived it day in and day out. You just can't fake something like that.

You, sir, have achieved the same dubious distinction within this community - as a fraud. While we can all admire your attraction to Corvettes as a whole, and C4s in particular, it is very clear that you neither have one nor have many of the experiences you intimate.

Further, your arguments are neither objective nor rational. Instead, they come across as childish and vapid. If you have any self respect at all, you should post details of whatever car you own, if you own one at all (which seems doubtfull) or at the very least - be truthful about your situation.

Certainly you have not done anything that the moderators might deem to be "ban-able", yet, your posts have done every thing to label you as a obstreperous fool. You can do better than that.

I am not going to respond to anything he posts from now on. This is obviously a troll and if we all keep feeding him he will never leave.

Fella's, we may be too hard on this guy. I got to thinking about this and maybe he has a rare optioned 96.

Vettedriven, does your stock 96 A4 have the more powerful, however rare, LT4?? If so, the 13.4 could be possible.

Aaaa, no. first a stock LT4 A4 would be rarer than an 83 vette, and second, look at his posts.

ZR1Fred, that was my point!! I've owned a few LT4's and know they all have 6 speeds.

I was curious to see the reaction and VetteDriven passed the test. Darn it VetteDriven, you are too good. 13.4 is possible with an auto LT1, but it would be nice if you could list more details and a picture of your car.
