Default headlight switch

i just bought an 86 yesterday and i can not find the headlight switch for anything i looked for about 35 min and cant find it,its probley right in frount of me but i can not find it,the car also has newer like 92-96 factory vette wheels on it,would the car have to be modfied to put them on i have been looking at differnt rims for it and they all say 84-87 only if thats the case how do this fit

The head light on/off switch is that round **** to the left of the cluster. The dimmer switch is on the turn signal (You just pull it forward). The Antenna goes up and down when the radio is turned on. It's usually broken/disconnected.

I don't own an early C4, but after some googling, this looks promising:



As far as the antenna goes, it should go up when you turn the stereo on.

To mount the later 88-96 factory wheels, your 86 would need wheel adapters to push the wheels out further to fill out the wheel wells.

If no wheel adapters are used, the wheels will sit a little more inboard.

the wheels do sit in to clouse to the car,so all the wheels would fit it just needs an adapter to make them flush .i just wanted to make shure when i buy the wheels for the 86 that they will fit i was thinking of yousing the zr1 crome 17-9.5 replca rims for the 86 thanks for all the help you guys have been a big help

You can buy Aftermarket ZR1 or other wheels in the correct 84-87 wheel offset so, they'll fit perfect without wheel adapters.
