Same stuff here. No electricity the last 2 days. No idea when it will be fixed.

They plowed my driveway shut again so I took the blower and shot it back out in the street.

Default Snow ?

What is snow? Not really sure. That white stuff? We have it once or twice every 6 or 7 years. Hits the ground and melts by noon. Southern snow is convenient.

Yall come on down to Dixie for a weekend cruise, 58 and sunny Saturday and 64 and sunny Sunday.!!!!!

Seriously guys hang in there spring is coming I promise.

We got it all yesterday-snow (7"), sleet and then rain, which froze overnight. Thankfully the Vette is sleeping, until all this nastiness is over. What a winter. The weather guys are saying we now have double the amount of snow we get on average for this time of year in the Boston area and we still have February to go. I am really hoping for an early spring (Late March/early April). Enough is enough.

I gotta Say I LOVE winter and I LOVE the snow (im obviously in the minority here). I do miss the 91 Vert for 5 months of the year, but i have my winter toys to fill the void. Up where i am in Near North Ontario Canada, we get 6-12" a week, almost every week...having 4 Ft of snow on the ground all winter is the norm, I shoveled over 4 1/2 ft of snow off the Garage roof in mid December alone

so...variety is the spice of my life, Winter = Snomobiles, Spring/Summer/Fall = Vette

Have to agree on the snow mobile thing. I have done it a few times when I was in Northern enviroments. Helluva lot of fun. In fact so much fun that I would go back north just to do it. But only for a few days. To all you northern forum members, hang in there, spring is coming! We are about the roll into February! Flowers will be blooming before you know it. In the mean time if you want to move to sunny Georgia I have a lake cabin for sale!!!

Actually I am doing a very intense search of smaller towns in southern Georgia/north central Florida right now. The wife and I will be able to move in hopefully a few years and I never want to see snow or cold temps again. Any suggestions?

I love when we get nice fluffy snow and then it rains on it and then freezes. Nothing better than a frozen wall off concrete on the roadway.

Those of you still residing north will not get any sympathy from me, you need a winter hobby. I always looked forward to winter when I lived north. I ran sled dogs, snow mobiled, had weekly card games with the guys, football parties etc.

I always took vacation from work in Feb to get some sunshine, went to Daytona for a week to take in speed weeks then down to the keys for a week for some deep sea fishing during the day & fun at the local watering holes after dark.

No matter where you live you can be bored or you can be busy or anywhere in between. Your choice, good luck.

My car has been on the stands fo over a month now and I must say that the snow is a good thing. It has allowed me to cover quite a few details without rushing them. By the time the ground is clear my car should be ready

Depends on what you are looking for:

Real Estate: Alot of good deals on Real Estate right now down the I-75 corridor. Say Warner Robins down to the Fla/Ga line. Not uncommon to pick up a deal on a house and 5-10 acres with if you shop carefully perhaps a large dettached shop. Thomasville Georgia is a nice little town and you can hop down to Tallahassee Fl in about 45-55 minutes.

Outdoors: South Georgia has easy access to good golf, good hunting and tons of fishing. Excellent whitewater rafting up in the North Georgia Go to the Tybee Island Ga or quickly cut across to the coast of Florida.

Spectator Sports: Master Golf tournament. Awsome College Football down in Tallahassee, Athens, Gainesville, or over in Auburn, Al. Oh yeah,

Auto Stuff: Two times a year we have a huge car swap meet in Moultrie. You can trip down to Daytona quickly or run up to Atlanta Motor Speedway and or Road Atlanta.

We have that big city stuff in Atlanta if that floats your boat! Things like an International Airport, theaters, The arts concerts and all of that.

Of course, we have bad stuff too! Like bugs, racial issues, and it gets very very hot in late July to Late September. I promise I don't work for the Chamber of Commerce Best part is that you can play outside all year round. No time lost to snow days.
