Default Scarecrows C4

What year was Scarecrows C4 from the TV show the Scarecrow
and Mrs. King? It starred Kate Jackson and Bruce Boxleitner.
Was that a 1984 or 1985?

84, but there's only a 50% chance that's correct. Did they ever lift the hood on the show?

The show started in Oct 1983 and ran to 1987. You can rest assured it was a 84 to start with. However usually more than one car is used on a set so I would bet two 84s were used. Were the cars up dated in later shows ???? Chevrolet was not a sponsor so Im not sure if these cars were donated by GM. As I recall (my wife being a big fan of the show) the Corvette was not the center piece of the show like Route 66, so mileage may have not been a issue. The key to finding out if the same 84s were used for its four year run is look at the tail pipes. If they are curved they were all 84s.

Its cool that the show ran from 1983-87.
That means the car pretty much looked the same during the
entire run. They probably cancelled the show when the 1988
vette came out. The wheels were different. Kate Jackson was
good, she was on Charlies Angels and the Rookies. Nice Legs.

If I recall he initially drive a Porsche, either a 356 vert or a Speedster.

That is correct in the early shows had Lee driving a Porsche and it was written out of the script supposed having been in a accident. Just goes to show you sometimes the produces do get things right.
