Here's an 87. It is the large square object in the center. I got mine from www.vette2vette.com
Just give Jason the code from your key and he can get you a used one. Mine solved my 87's starting problem. Just pull the front of the dash apart to get to it. I replaced my bread box at the same time with a flat panel. In order to get to the upper bolts of the bread box mount you have to remove the upper dash pad.
