Yep, with the tool I described works the same. You tap it on with a hammer, then twist and it bites into the nut. I used a 3/4 drive socket on the C3 and they came off just like any other lug. The locking nut is destroyed, but that is usually not a concern. Car thieves that are pros will have them off as easily as regular. What will really make you angry, lock your keys in the car and have someone get them out. Takes less than 30 seconds if they are good.
A family member just locked my keys inside 2 weeks ago. A locksmith with an air wedge and a bent metal rod that was stiffer than my clothes hanger contraption unlocked it manually. The alarm did go off though when we finally opened the door!

How long did it take? I locked the keys in our 300C, took the guy under 30 seconds and handed me a bill for $50. How would you like to make $6,000 / hour???
By the way, I'll get a picture of the removal tool tonight.

Well, first he tried to slim-jim it, but he couldn't. So he carefully hand-pumped an air wedge (like the blood pressure cuff hand pump) against my new weatherstripping, stuck a thick, bent rod in there, and pushed the manual unlock button. Maybe a minute for the air wedge technique!

But where are you going to find 120 idiots in the same location with keys locked in the car.........Oklahoma........Arkansas???
Yeah, I guess you don't have to take into consideration the drive time to and from the location, checking out the car to make sure what tools would be the best option, etc.....
