Default Need help with tail light problem.

My left turn signal (88 convertible) is not working (the right does) and I think that I have isolated the problem to the left inside rear bulb. The problem is that I can't figure out how to replace it. The manual says to access it through the the license plate opening, but I can only get one hand in there. I have been able to get the socket off, but for the life of me can't get the bulb out of the socket reaching in there blindly with one hand. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Luckily, I have not had to replace the bulbs in my car, but if you remove the muffler, you should have full access.

I've had to change a few taillights in my 87.

Its a little tricky, but defiantly do-able without dropping the muffler.

If i remember correctly, to get the bulb out, you have to twist it and then pull. That way it locks itself in there.

Good luck
