I am putting a new DVD player stereo in my 92.I had an aftermarket system in it and hooked it all back up the same but now my antenna will not come up ...Any idea where to look or is the new system not triggering it.

in my 91 vette which has after market system too i see 2 pink wires been cut from the orignal stereo harness (the bigger one) and one of them (the first one from them left next to the black wire) is conected to the antenna power controler wire in the after market stereo, the other one (the fourth wire from the left) looks like ground only u may wanna try to see if they were both conected.... i hope this will help

Ill check all this out ,in reference to the pink wire,I have 1 and thats what the other stereo antenna wire was hooked to .But when I got this car this guy or someone had a big mess under the console with wires and gages and crap, so everytime i work on the car i deal with redneck engineering at its worse ,and bare wires here and there and everywhere even with masking tape on soldered speaker wires...grrrr

waw he might be the same guy who installed my after market in dash gps pionner, i paid him $700 for that and i noticed bad quality in my radio reception which made me think to check it out and i found insted of the antenna adapter a 2 in screw with a wire to the ground!!! im gonna have long talk with him tomorrow about that!!
