Door Panel Help Needed

Door Panel Help Needed
In my quest to make this car perfect i need some help.
My door panels are problematic at the top. The passenger side one is in near new condition but it not secure 100% at the top and my drivers one is in decent shape but when you shut the door it pops right off on the top. I can force it back on and if i baby it it stays but in popping in on i ripped a top piece of vinyl a bit. I think a upholstery shop can repair it and make it like new again vs spending a small fortune on new ones considering they are both in decent shape.
Any mods to be made that can cement this thig to the door. If i can figure that out and then recover the seats then she is ready for her first car show. These doors are driving me nuts though. The drivers side falls off at the top completely where the passenger just a little bi - what gives??

That's for the later panels. The earlier panels tend to pucker at the top and pull away. And there's less to work with on the back. I bought 2 new ones from Willcox.

Does anyone have an early C4 fix, I'd really like to salvage these and save the coin. Any help is greatly appreciated
