Mine is key on, wait a sec, turn rest of way starts after just a couple of revs of the starter.
I have to let it run for a minute or it runs like a dog. I just changed the fluids and that might help the cold stumbling. I'll know in the morning.

sometimes mine needs just the slightest touch at startup, it sometimes tries to "dip" for a second and needs just a touch.

Re: How well does your vette start when cold? (Oh My)
I had a little bit of a problem on my old engine. Not sure what the deal was. We'll see how the 383 starts when cold.

Mine starts just fine. Going to wake the neighbor in a few as I'm going to work. I'll post a story about that.

Mine runs like new money from a cold start-up. Get in, strap it on, insert key in ignition, listen to the DING! DING! DING! pre-ignition tone, turn the key and doe, chew, chew, chew, VRRRROOOMMMM! It's GTP fantasy time!
