Default damn weather

the other day it was about 50* here in Connecticut, cleaned up the Vette, battery fully charged, went for a nice 40 miles cruise. I figure YES spring is finally here..today it is snowing with 14 inches predicted..think I will go hang myself..

I feel your pain

It's that damn Corvette hating little rodent ground hog that is to blame!!! I say it's time to hunt him down, and put him on the BBQ on the first day of spring (20th)

Nothing says spring more than a "hog" roast (no matter what size the hog )

Mine's not getting out of storage until April 1st - let the road salt and grime get washed away with some spring rains.

You are lucky that you were able to get out at all, It will be at least another 2 months before I can get my vette out. Everyday I think about that first run of the year.

i hear ya dude. this has been one "tuff" winter - seems like it's been lasting forever. i have been driving my 90 this winter (as long as the roads are clean and dry) - in fact, had it out yesterday to pick up some oil/filters and a serpentine belt for my truck. started to flurry a little, but everything was still fairly dry. i did go thru a 6 week spell (first week in jan to 2nd week in february) when the 90 didn't move. at times even my wife's jeep had a tuff time movin' this winter. anyway, i'm thinking we're seeing light at the end of the tunnel, and i'll be getting my c6 our in about 4 weeks or so...

The only good thing about today's snow was that I could use the snow blower. Other than that I can't wait for spring. I don't know about most of you but I drive the vette even when it is freezing out, as long as there is no snow predicted. Hell, the vette warms up a lot faster than my Durango.

On Saturday I drove my 1990 about 80 miles. That makes it two weekends in a row that I could use my car. The roads were nice and clean, now "slop". However the sun angle is high and the snow/slop is melting already. By weekend this will be a bad memory although I expect another week before all the road salt has been washed from the roads. Hang in there.

In atlanta it rained off and on for a week or 2. Than bam we had an inch or two of snow. Which isnt much but it all melted and turned to slush and ice. Nasty weather, but next week they are predicting the weather to reach mid 60s. I am praying for it!!!

Snow blower isn't quite like driving but ya have to make do sometimes. Me too, fiberglass doesn't rust, I drive it, heater works great

14 inches of snow by me in Suffolk county, NY...What a drag; here I thought March would be a good time to take her out of the garage and go for a spin. Unbelievable.

I just ordered a front poly bushing set a couple of days ago, and this sh*t happens. Better yet, the garage i rent for my vette is in the back yard of the owners house and today whoever shoveled/plowed the driveway, plowed and stopped halfway down the driveway. Now i cant even get my car out, even if it is going to be 50* Sat.

I just went through this when I was getting the rear bushings done. WINTER SUCKS.

BTW, is this car ever going to be finished?
