Default Where does this connect to?

Well I was under the dash today still trying to figure out my cruise control issue and I discovered this coming from the wires out of the steering column. Cant believe is was so blind before. Two questions, 1)Where does this connect to and 2)Is it cruise control related(fingers crossed)

The wires are grey, black, blue and pink

Is the car automatic or manual transmission? When I looked in the 87 FSM wiring schematic it did show those colored wires running to the brake switch or clutch switch. So that would be a place to start looking.
Good Luck

96' LT4. 6 Speed. The wires come out of a white colored plastic clip at the bottom of the steering column.

That goes to the Turbo Boost. Is the button no longer operational?

Do you know the previous owner? You are best off contacting them to find the history. People get alarms, kill switches, radios, all sorts of stuff, and then keep it or take it out half way. If everything is functioning on the car it is probably extra.

What's with all the confusing answers, guys? Yes, this is the connector to the cruise control switches on the turn signal stalk. You've got it right! It's mate is just above the hush panel, just behind your clutch pedal (or the left brake pedal).

THANK YOU Now to get myself under that dash. Is the "mate" going to be a connector that is mounted, shared with other wires....? thanks.

If this is the connector you are talking about, it definentally wont work when compared to the connector on the wires. Please help me locate where this wire goes.
