I want a firmer shift on my '96. I had a tuner tighten the stock setting up some but I want more. I also have a 2800 stall coverter. I would prefer something I can change on my own without sending the PCM off all the time.
It probably does the same thing as a tuner would. The only way I know of to get a firmer shift than what the computer can deliver is to rebuild the trans with firmer shifting parts.
