I met the Duke once. I was working for Caterpillar in LA just after getting out of the navy. Duke had an old navy minesweeper that he had converted into his private yacht named "Wild Goose". It had a pair of Cat diesel generators onboard that needed servicing at the time. He came aboard just as my partner and I were finishing up. He asked how we were doing and was glad to hear we were done as he was planning on taking some friends out for a cruise later. He thanked us for our work and offered to have the steward fetch us a beer before we hit the road which we gladly accepted. I will never forget that day. He passed away about a year and half later. A true American that loved his county and one hell of a guy in my books.

I am on other forums as well. but look at his posts and you will understand why he gets the response he does. I have no problem with him or anyone. He does not ask for info, but he will now. He askes opinions on what is being called fluff, and surely he can get a pic up evn a fake one, but I think he is another member here, probably from ot or he is just a bored guy.
