looking for a measurement
I just got a 1985. This is definately a fixer upper.
I noticed the body line on the passenger side where the hood meets the small panel in front of the door is out of wack.
The drivers side is flush straight across. On the passenger side, closest to the back of the front wheel it sticks out almost an inch. It's flush near the door.
I know there was some work done to the hood. I hope they just did sloppy work.
I was hoping a few members would tilt up their hoods and take two measurements and post them.
I'm looking for the inner distance at the back of the hood (closest to the door when closed) from the drivers to passengers side. And the inner measurement closest to the back of the front wheel when the hood is closed.
I hope this clear what I'm asking. If not, please ask for clarification. Sorry for the long post. I'm just trying to figure out if my hood is out of wack (an easier fix) or is the small panel in front of the passengers door out of wack (a harder fix).
