Yes, at least in my 87 they are once they are out of the shells they mount to. Not a bad idea to change sides every once in a while on the lower cushions to reduce wear on the bolsters

On my 88 the WHOLE seat is interchangeable, It has 2 sets of bolt holes. I swapped them 6 mos ago so they'd wear the bolsters evenly.
