I was wondering how many of you have a mini vette to go with the real deal. It doesn't matter if it is a model that you built or a diecast you bought. Lets see what they look like.

Are those pipes functional? Unique look, mind letting us know where you got that setup at?

They are called "Power Effect Side Pipes". Here is their website http://www.powereffects.com/SideEffects.htm
Now I'm not saying you will or won't get a set from them. I have called to their shop many times and talked with them. It is a genuine GM casting and this company has all rights and the patent too. With the age of the C4 and with them becoming fewer in numbers they don't make them anymore unless your willing to drop a couple of grand and then it's still just a maybe. The cost for the foundry is pretty steep for them and to do just one set the foundry doesn't want to waste their time to do the work. Your going to need to make a group buy for them to even think about doing it. Now for the the fiberglass shrouds around the pipes your going to fall into the same as the pipes. They won't do just one set. Your going to have better luck finding a set at a swap meet. I can't tell you how many times people come up to me and ask about the pipes. If you get yourself a set you better learn to TIC-TAC each wheel over speed bumps, driveway, etc. The mounting brackets scrub across really high speed bumps if your going to fast. Besides that I love em. Now with these in place the rearend looks abit different without exhaust tips and as you know the rear bumper has notches for those tips. If this car wasn't so rare (1 of 35) I would have changed the rear bumper with a greenwood styled bumper. Good luck finding some, Copper
