I just bought a 95 Pace Car with 3200 miles on it. I bought it about 6 weeks ago and have not drove it till I tryed to today. I went out to take it for a spin around the block a cpl of times and the Battery was Dead. I mean DEAD. I could not even click the rear deck release it was that dead. I put the power pack to it and started right up but when it did I saw that the light on the passenger side sunvisor makeup mirror light was on. Could that and the clock still running drain the battery? I now have a Battery Tender on it so it should be in good shape. Man was I pizzed I was telling it that it was going up FOR SALE. I drove it about 5 miles and let it run for about 20 min. and yes it is up FOR SALE. I keep my word. Next time a Corvette I own will do as asked or it to will be up for sale.

Thats exactly what kept my battery dying for a while. The passenger vanity mirror light. I think thats a little extreme though, selling it because someone left the vanity mirror on and drained the battery. Besides, six weeks without starting it is enough to drain a battery by itself.
Sell it real cheap, while you are still mad at it, and I might be interested. Right now I have 2 Corvettes and a Harley on Battery Tenders until it gets just a little warmer out just so I don't get caught in the same situation.
The previous owner of my '96 told me that if he let the car sit for more than 3 or 4 weeks the battery would be dead. So I keep a tender on it whenever it's going to sit for any length of time, and have had no problems.
Did your car apologize? If it said it was sorry, you might want to reconsider. Sometimes they have an adjustment period getting used to their new owners.
C'mon man, have a heart.......poor thing, you didn't have to give it an ultimatum right off the bat. Dude, I'll bet if you are married, she's like a Stepford wife!
How much??? Cash, gold or check? I'll be there tomorrow if the price is right. Since the car is a junker, don't ask too much. Give me a price, you're right, the damn car is a piece of ****. How about 5 grand?

Oh holy hell, you must be making up for a small appendage if you get upset because a machine doesn't do what you want because you didn't take care of it. Poor baby

On a 95 the vanity lamps only receive 12 volts when the ignition is in run, bulb test or start so that isn't your problem.
If you think you have an electrical problem measure the current draw with the ignition off. With the interior and under the hood lamps off the current draw should be around 50 milliamps or less.
