Does anyone know where I can find a ricer shop in Central MN? Please don't slam me It's just that I keep hearing about alot of really cool things that are found at these places and I wanna check it out for myself. No I'm not about to put hydraulics and flourescents on my car but I am curious about what is out there.
You'll never find corvette specific parts in an of these shops, but you can find parts that wil work on a corvette like I have, universal parts like pedals, lights, etc.
oh, yeah, if you find one use your taurus or something to go there in....leave the vette at home, unless you want to race! MY local shop knows me so I dont have problems, (dusted the manager's light blue supra in my stang, then went to rub it in by buying some sticker material from him....it was all in good fun)
hey kore, what the hell are those things on your vettes fender?...... they look like stickers...... like lil kill emblems or something??? is it a kill count or am i not drunk enough yet?
oh and you guys are ricers! i'm telling!....... :jester
They are stickers I made from some of the companies I got performance parts from. Pretty easy to do. Find the companies logo on the internet or scan it in, bring it up in photoshop, adjust it to the proper size, flip the image horizontally and print onto some decal material (purchased from a ricer shop) , then just cut carefully and apply.
There are a couple local ricer shops in my area. I visited them and they just gave me blank stares. I wish some of them had as much brains as money that they spend into this stuff.
I asked if they had any shift ***** to fit my vette. They looked around for a short shifter.. i said NO NO NO... *****... they pointed me to some and i asked what size they were, if the would fit on my shift stick.. they looked really confused... so i just walked out...
Most of the things you will find are this
*Altezza tail lamps for hondas
*Odd looking wings shaped like upside down bent coat hangers
*Cold air intakes for hondas
*rims that wont fit your car
thats about all that is in my area. I wanted some neon kits and they dont even carry those.. isnt that the staple item of a ricer? heh.. oh well :(
Ha. It's funny that you want to go to a ricer shop. One of my friends from college had a riced out civic with a decent looking kit on it. I went ride with him to his friends ricer shop. Its funny in there because all you see is light lenses, emblems in all different colors, stickers, and fart pipes. He told the guys in there that i had a Vette and they wanted to see it, but i wasnt in it. They were however some really nice guys, but their cars were ugly. :D
