I've seen quite a few C4's lowered in pics and a few of the avatars on the forum. I really like the the way it looks. Especially the '91 thru '96. Question: Do the tires ever rub up against the wheel wells when the car bounces at different speeds — straight-away or on curves — with or without custom wheels and oversized tires? Thanks

Reason: wording change
It all depends on what width wheels you run, and more importantly how much you lower the car. I have 11" rears with 315 tires lowered to roughly 2 fingers of gap, and I rarely rub in the rear. There's a little evidence of rubbing on the inside of the fender well, but not much. None on the front.
I use 17x11 wheels with 315 tires on all four corner when at the track. My car sits pretty low and only get a little bit of rubbing in the front. I do have the stiffest factory springs on a C4 though.
How difficult is it to "jack" a lowered car in the air? When using my
hydraulic jack which, is about 3 to 4 inches high at the "lift" end, I can
barely get it under the sides.
