Check out "Corvette Specs-C4 Models" by Michael Antonick and "The Heart Of The Beast" (about the ZR1) by Anthony Young for starters.

There is a book 1983-89 performance corvettes I think its called something like that and it has all the performance data on these cars and it compares them to porchse's and lambos and ferrari's. Great read.
