Racing events where Corvettes dominated for years will evolve with cars like the SMART CAR, the 2012 Pelosi GTxi SS/RT Sport Edition

Those Smart Cars are definitely different. Here on the News today in Pittsburgh there was a report on how many of them were ordered from dealers when the price of gas was over $4.00 a gallon. There was a waiting time of more than a few months to get one. Now many of the dealers a stuck with them as many potential buyers backed out of the deals. Good mileage or not, those cars are way too small to be safe in an accident. It's strange how the higher prices on gas make people think a safe car should be replaced with one like this "toy car" just to be able to afford to get around. I hope to never see gas prices that high again but I think it's only a matter of time.
