Shiftlight annoying?

Shiftlight annoying?
People with a shiftlight, is it annoying to you? I installed it on my automatic because I thought it would be beneficial if I went to the track. I rode with it around town for 2 days so far and it's just annoying. I don't see how it could give me any tactical advantage period. What do you guys think of your shiftlights? Pointless on any car? Worthwhile for a automatic without a shiftkit? It's from Raptor. I am really considering selling it now in the F/S section. I know the light can be blocked with the cover provided, but then that would defeat the entire purpose of having it to start with.

I have put it up in the F/S section because it is quite annoying. It's from Raptor so it is not a big loss. Someone gets a good deal and I got taught another lesson in the car business. Thanks for the input.
