Hi, All
I have an '85 Corvette and was considering trading it in on a 1995 Corvette. Other than it being a six speed and mine being an automatic, I was wondering how much difference is there between the two years of cars.
Are there some advantages, other than cost, of keeping my car?
L98 to LT1 go for it, if all other things are equal paint condition, interior. miles, ect sounds like a nice trade up. Newer dash lay out also with the 95 the front & rear body lines are a little softer. BIgger wheels & I believe the brakes are also.

95 is faster and rides quieter. The handling feels different, softer and you get to have all the modern safety features like Air Bags, ABS and all the other good modern stuff. If you enjoy the raw feeling of the older Corvettes IMO keep what you got and up date the performance with engine Mods, unless of course some one is giving the 95 away which has been the trend with many C4 sellers who have been duped into thinking their C4s are worthless because its a C4.
I'd probably have to pay something near $7000 difference to get the 95 and the car is in much better condition overall than mine is. The only thing better on mine is the tires and wheels. Both cars have y2k wheels but mine are brand new.
