Default '95 hazard flasher

Out for some 2-stepping last night and found out a friend just bought himself a '95 coupe a week ago. He's already got it apart chasing a gremlin and thought this forum could save him some hassle. I tried a search but after reading a whole bunch I still can't give him a definite answer.

His 4-ways don't work but his turn signals all work just fine. He has the dash apart but thinks what he has located is the turn signal relay, not the 4-ways. One post in my search seemed to indicate the 4-way unit might be on the PASSENGER side but then said no - and that thread was for a '96, in case there was a difference between them his is a '95. I told him the FSM is suggested as a must-have almost every time a problem comes up (sent for mine last week)

Thanks for any help. I told him about this forum - maybe I can convince him this is THE place for answers!

It is under dash, right side. Per my 95 FSM the steps are:

Remove or disconnect
1. Fuse box cover and I/P side trim panel - RH.
2. Bolts/scres, side of lower trim panel.
3. I/P air outlet assembly - RH.
4. Nuts, lower trim panel to I/P.
5. Partially remove lower trim panel and disconnect courtesy lamp connector.
6.Trim panel, pull out from over floor air outlet.
7. Unclip flasher from rear of multiuse bracket.
8. Electrical connector (unclip)

Re-install in reverse order.

Torque screws to 29 in lb and nuts to 9 ft lb.
