loose steering column
I am at work so i cannot do a search so i had to have my wife post this.
My car is at the mechanic now. I read 1 time that if the pins are loose you can replace them with larger pins. Can you please tell me where to get the larger pins.

Loose columns are happen too often on GM products and are not for the faint of heart to fix. I watched the guy I called out to fix my Z and he used several speciality tools and commented about someone else's efforts at getting into it and the various messed up parts and springs that resulted.
Basically you get down to the offending bolts and put loc tite on them to fix it right.
I found the guy in a ad and steering columns are all he does and he comes to your house.

Actually the job is not that difficult, but it does require special tools.
I searched the yellow pages (internet version) and found a young lady that straightened my column up for $75, outcall.
