Acid rain water spots are very difficult to remove. I have some on my camry- black. Tried a little compound and it is still there. (some came out.) I do not want to be more aggressive and rub harder because I do not know how much clearcoat is left.
If they're super new, you could try out a product such as Detail King's "spot-not." It's a liquid that takes out recent acid rain marks with ease.
If the marks are a few months old, I'd recommend polishing the car with something along the likes of 3M Ultrafina or Menzerna 106FF [ my favorite light polish] A DA buffer or rotary would work
If the spots are still there, or have been there for a long time, the only way would be to compound the area with a high speed rotary, or wetsand the area then follow up with compound->polish.
Sometimes the acid rain marks can't be removed, which is why it's important to keep the vehicle waxed at all times.
I have used many many of these products, and nothing works as well as MX-7 for paint and one for glass. Spray on, wash off, spots gone period. Its made here in Hawaii, and has a flouride smell. Water spots are so common here due to light rain, soft water etc.
Everything else I used barely did anything, this stuff honestly just works. Nothing fancy.
An example of there product for glass, and they have one for paint http://www.e-cars-hawaii-detailing.com/mx-7-ultra.html

Unfortunately I dont think you can. If you call them, their number on the bottle, 8087227326. I buy it at Redline here in Hawaii, and sometimes Wal Mart.
Or call the company in the link.
I have been using a product called BTS. It was designed for boats and it is the best water spot removal remedy I have found yet. It sprays on like a quick detailer and you simply buff with a microfiber towel and they are gone. The shine is the best yet. I've tried all the waxes and at $16.00 per 32 ounce this stuff is the best. Call Rob @ toll free 888-303-0369 and tell him Barry sent you. He'll answer all of your questions. It works great on any clear coat, plastic, acrylic including the carpet. Sounds too good to be true but it is the real deal. I'll post a picture of my 1990 when I figure out how to do it. My 19 year old paint has never looked better.

I called the guy and he says it is a protectant for boats and will not get rid of waterspots.
