Replacing throw out bearing
Just wondering on my 1986 corvette, the throw-out bearing is starting to squeak a little bit when I let out of the clutch. It squeaks when at idle also, Do I have to drop the whole tranny to replace it and how hard of a job is it to do?

You have to drop everything that is in between you and the bellhouseing bolts
exhaust
c-beam
driveshaft
center console
You need the field service manual. The "auto parts" manual is not as detailed the FSM is.
