These cars were mentioned in the book "All Corvettes are Red." I think they used them to road test the C5 chasis and suspention without revealing the body style to the auto media. This would be a great piece of history to own.

That's really interesting and would be cool to own a unique car like that. I had heard they made C5 test mules but never have seen one. I always wondered what they looked like.
I guess that's the first C5 to C4 body kit?
Looks like they made a redesigned C4 front bumper. Would be cool to have that bumper on mine.

No it isn't, look closely at the front, the two front lenses are reshaped, they are shorter and have the top inner corners curved. It's all one piece too.
