I know how much trouble you had getting your Ruby at Vettes of Dallas. Where did you end up going? A dealership or individual? The only reason I like Corvettes of Dallas is because they keep the cars so clean and shiny and their prices are just perfect for me. Thanks for any help. :jester

Tony, Corvettes of Dallas can KISS MY BUTT!! Lol! Actually their prices are high and a good detail job doesn't mean the car was well cared for.

We lucked out on the Ruby. The guy who owned it was friends with the owner of one of these small lots that marks $1000 cars up and charges interest by the week. They had no idea that the Ruby was a lot more valuable than a normal '93 because they don't sell high dollar cars. Anyway, I have found for the most part that buying from an individual works best. I have a 2" binder with at least 100 pieces of documentation from the '85 but have almost nothing for the Ruby :(

Thanks for the response. Wherever I go, I don't want to have to wave money in front of their face to get their attention. I will try from an individual first. Thank you. :jester

Their reputation is not all that great. The cars that I've seen in their showroom have been damaged or treated harshly. They detail the heck out of them so they look good. And you can foget about service after the sale :seeya
