Anyone have experience with the universal mufflers that Corsa makes? I'm pretty happy with my current exhaust (Hooker LTs, 2.5" SS duals, 40 Series Flows with no cats) except the drone from the Flowmasters is getting a bit old. I'm thinking about getting the Corsa mufflers in the link below instead of buying a whole cat-back system since my current one is pretty decent. I'm hoping just the mufflers alone would cut back on the interior resonance quite a bit. Anybody used them?
Hmm never seen this seperate setup before. Im running the regular Corsa power pulse cat back set up and Im very happy with it. I suspect the key to the system will still be the resonator so im not sure if the muffler alone will resolve your resonance issue in the car. If I was to guess Id probably say no without the midline resonator.
First, I would call Corsa and make sure they use the "RSC" technology in that muffler. I had a few conversations with them years ago and the reason they didn't offer a universal was that "every car was different and they couldn't guarantee no drone in a universal application". Made sense...
That said, I have just the mufflers, no resonator, and I have no resonance running a 408 with headers and no cats. It is loud, louder outside than in, and no resonance. I've had Dynomax Ultraflow and Flowmasters, so BELIEVE me, I know resonance versus volume.
So I would say that if these do have RSC, they will more than likely work to reduce or eliminate resonance
Hit youtube and search for user "brodix434" I have video of inside and out.

I went on Corsa's website and pulled up the specs for the mufflers. It does say they feature the RSC technology. So it looks like these could be the ticket!
Would be interested to know how they work if you get them. They mention an OE quality dissipative material, I wonder what that is? I guess that's what helps them make them universal.
Though if you look, there is an "approved list" of cars for which they claim no resonance.
