89 cconvert top install

89 cconvert top install

Anybody have experience installing canvas with plastic window on an 89? Does the frame adjust front to back or side to side to allow for a tight fit of the new top? Thanks, Jim

No ajustment. When I put on a top, I do the back first. The back is a pretty tight stretch.

Do you use weatherstrip adhesive and clamps on the rear? How long do you let it set up before moving forward? Thanks again, Jim

I dont use clamps. Just the weatherstrip adheisive. It dries real fast. I glue the whole back at the same time so I can ajust it before any portion is completely dry. Its a tight strectch across the back.
