Default spider web?

Hi I was looking at 91 corvette black, the paint was nice smooth, it had 2 or 3 spot looks like white webs what is this cracking in the paint or body?

What your looking at is called spider cracking. It is in the paint. Only removed by sanding down the surface and painting over it.

Usually it is because of stress. The materials in the carbon fiber don't allow too much flex, but it does take allot of effort to make a spider crack. Just recently my hood fell down while completely up. The car was idling and shook the stand so much that the hood came slamming down. The end result was a 3 inch spider crack right in the middle of my hood.
