2 Questions
First:
has anybody replaced the rubber strip at the bottom of the windows on the exterior of the car mine are all cracked. It looks like there are held in by 3 rivets i'm wondering how to remove them with risking drilling through the door.
Second.
I need to replace my roof. I was looking at Astro Tops anybody ever do business with them? There price of $485 for a reproduction roof seems low.

Wrap a piece of tape around the drill bit 1/4" up. Be very carefull with the center rivet, it is very close to the door skin. This is assuming you have removed the door panel and the top corners of the inside door weather strip. As far as tops, I have heard bad reports on Astro, but none that I can recall.

I just replaced mine after returning from paint, I used a sharp small chisle. The rivits aren't as much trouble as the clips were after being there for 14 years. Corvette Recycling (OEM best $)
