Toms wheels has absolutely the best price, good honest dealer and has a superior product. You can find him on fleabay.
Any interest in a used set?

Here's a link for some chrome sawblades:

Some of the members here say their customer service is real bad so I don't know if I would buy from them or not.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. After testing it was found that the cancer was in an advanced stage as traces were found in the lymph nodes meaning the cancer had spread outside of the prostate. Although at this time I am handling the cancer very well the treatments which have many side effects have kicked my butt. I have been on Hormone treatments and am now doing the daily Radiation treatments. As I had made a decision to get my treatment at MD Anderson which I feel is one of the best facilities in the world I am either having to commute or stay in Houston for my radiation treatments.

With my condition affecting my involvement with the company and current market conditions the business suffered. At this time I am shutting down almost all of the wheel and tire part of the business and have spun off the accessories side which will be under the management of someone else. They will continue the accessories such as LLoyds mats, Altec, limited tires and wheels, and they may expand as time goes on. They will also help me liquidate the small amount of inventory I have in the shop.

When I finish treatments in a couple of months and have a little time to recover I will explore what options and possibilities might be available for Tomzwheels. Unfortunately what will happen with the company and my condition is all pure speculation and I cannot make any projections.

As for current business. All orders past, present, and future will be completed. All products sold by us are still covered by the Factory Warranty. Any questions regarding these issues can be sent via PM's or to Lonestarwheelz@aol.com.

This has been a tough time and I have really agonized making this decision. I realize now that with everything going on right now that this is the only decision I can make. In closing let me say that the best part of this business over the years have been the interactions with the people here on the forums with whom I could share my passion of Automobiles especially Corvettes and Camaros.

Thanks
Tom

Remember, they can't chrome the way they used to. Environmentalists have stopped all that. Most chrome is warranted for only a year insome cases three.

I had a set of chrome sawblades on my '93, I immediately traded them for stock with my boss who wanted chrome.

7 years later, he no longer has the car but the rims are at a coworkers house and they are pitted beyond belief. That's after being stored in a garage.

If you use your car daily, I would stay away from chrome.

I sorta agree ... I had chromes on my '90 Coupe and the plating is piting badly ... even pealing off the edge of the rim. Now, mine were originals and lasted almost two decades, but with the lower quality of chrome plating these days, I opted for polished aluminum ZR1's from OE Wheels. They look like they are chrome; however, there is a bit more maintenance to keep them looking that way. BTW, OE Wheels was exceptional with shipping and customer service too.
