Hi, couple questions, in a 4+3 vette do u just hit the button on the shifter to make it upshift? i was in 4th doing 70mph at 2900 rpm and it was telling me to upshift so i pushed the button and nothing happened. also under the drivers rear compartment i took out the plastic 'bucket' and under it was a weird contraption with hoses going into it, what could this be? thanks guys

You can command it/out of O/d if you are running in MANUAL mode.
By default, UNLESS you disengage O/d by pushing the buttom it will be in auto O/d mode every time you start.
The computer will automatically turn the O/d on when pre-programmed conditions are met; speed , engine temp , etc.
Hit the button before you drive off and you have complete man control over O/d. Can shift in / out of O/d whenever you want
Unit in rear is ABS pump and controls
