Default 90 value

I'm looking at a 90 vert, charcoal metallic ,it has new paint, top, interior, computer, wheels, ss exhaust and new ball joints. The car has 92k on it, everything works except for, a code for the airbag, and it needs a tach filter. He has a hardtop, which I don't want, he's asking 11.5K , without the hardtop. I think it too much because of the mileage, but its a nice car. What's it worth, thanks Jim.

I dont think I would buy a car with an airbag issue. Have them fix it before you buy. Some states this can be an issue when buying or selling.

If it needed new paint, top and interior, it must have had a rough life. I'd look for another in nice original condition for that price.

Most '90's will have bad airbag sensor(s). It's a known bug in that MY.

Its a buyers market, you may want to look around some more.

Local car, 88 coupe with a new motor & a Greenwood body kit, 6K.

$11500 for a 90 that's been well cared for could be worth the money, but that doesn't sound like it falls into that category. For that much money I would be looking for a lower mileage, all original car. It may be a very nice car but as it was just stated in a previous post "it is a buyers market". I think I would look some more and later if you decide you want the car the chances are that car will still be there because theses cars aren't moving that fast right now. Good luck

Here is how I look at it. If you have receipts that show these are in fact brand new parts for you to enjoy, and it runs and drives right, and maybe has all of the performance crap, then maybe I could say it is up to you, but that is very high.
On the other hand if you bought that car in it's prior condition for 6k and you had to put all of those reciepts in to it, I bet you come out over 11k
I would say depending on it's condition no more than 8.5 -9k
IMO
you can look here and find anything you want, from stock to 500+ hp for 10k right now. Or a later stock lt1 with low miles. BALL IS IN YOUR COURT!

He will find out soon enough due to the lack of offers that he is too high on the price. It is way to easy to shop and compare prices for someone to just assume this is a fair price. The car may be in great shape but there are so many to choose from right now. For the 10+K wait until you find the vette of your dreams.
You can find a ton in that price range. Be patient. It will be worth it.
Have you ever owned a vette before?

For 11K it should flawless and even then it might be a little high in price. That being said, Charcoal metallic is freakin sweet
