Not the coolest. That would be the Fikse FM5. Anything that came off a C4, C5, or C6 is just boring, unless somebody has a pic with the new C6 Z06 Spider Wheels. I do love the setup Lars has. I am, however, one of the first to to post with the AR TT II's.

Really like the looks of your setup!
Any additional pictures?
Can you tell me your wheel and tire sizes?
I am wondering how Cragar S/S rims would look on the C4?

Do you have any pics that you could post, I would like to get a better idea how they look on a red car.
I really like how they look on the silver collectors edition above.

Hi Dave.

Thanks.

These are the American Racing Torq Thrust II (2-piece wheel) in 17x9.5 all around with 275/40/17 BFG G-Force Sports. Both are a slightly lower offset than what the C4 calls for. The rears are almost perfect, the fronts stick out a tiny bit. THE TT II can be custom made for not much $$$.

More pics go to: Linky

I like the ZO6 wheels (aftermarket) in polished aluminum....adds a nice touch to a old car.

I always liked the C5 2000 wheels on a C4. I got em on my '95 and I love em!

Black GS repros on a black C4.

Love it- and they don't cost a friggin' mint like Fikse or HRE.

Need to throw my hat in the ring here. Ruff Racing series 278 wheel and tire combo shipped was less than 1500.00. 19 on rear 18 on front.

Default You do mean WHEELS, don't you?

Wheel thread # 1,285,653... (rims are the outer part of the WHEEL)

I'll bite, however...

Custom made Center Line Longboards (no longer in production). 1 of two sets made for C4 (I sold the other set along with this '92).. I still have one set of these at the moment (probably going to use them on my Goat, but I'm undecided)

Greg Weld Motorsport wheels... also no longer in production - current wheels on my '85

The obligatory Z06 Motorsport wheels in black on my old red '96 (also gone)

Unknown wheels on a customer's '99 C5 vert (ugly, IMO)

To me, it's a tie between GS-replicas and black-centered CCW classics. One's a lot more expensive though

I like Brian Cunningham's Fikse rims. Been trying to get him to will them to me when he dies for the longest.

Sorry, but I disagree.

Your 1992 Dark Red Metallic/Black A4 had the ARE rims. I had a set on my '88, and I'd REALLY like to get another set for my '92. On my '88, I stripped the clear-coat off the outer lip, and had them polished perfectly.

It had the right mix of 'racer' look and class.

I must be really out of touch. Far as I'm concerned, nothing is better that the saw blades. No other car has ever had them, far as I know.

Very distinctive.
