Some can look fine, but I've not seen one that improves anything.

Are you talking a visual improvement to your eye? Or you mean an improvement in performance? There are lots of body enhancements that improve the aero of the cars.

Yes, I was speaking to aesthetics, just like the OP. The examples of aero improvements shown above are cool, but they are not necessarily attractive and would be a rediculous addition to a street car.

No, we tried like hell about a year ago to get our hands on some, but with all the shipping and importing we were looking at I think 12k per kit

Last year when we did it we had the site translated, and found a company in the UK that imports them, then it would be shipping from the UK to the US, plus insurance, plus VAT, it added up fast

Im confused. Both of these C4s appear to have different kits but people claim both are BSM? Do they make two kits or what?

I think the aerobody and the shinoda/mears kits look pretty decent. The rest are pretty ugly IMO.

Welllll, I did read it correctly and I did give an example, of a good body kit designed and sold by GM, IMHO. The only person here, answering in the negative was Red Tornado with a simple "no". Everyone else gave their opinion that body kits are not for them, ugly, etc. , and, that is not what the OP asked for. What body kits are "good" or "bad" are in the eye of the beholder. Whether body kits should be added at all, is something the OP did not ask. But, as I pointed out, the usual suspects came in and gave their unsolicited opinions anyways. This particular forum is quite well known for the anti-appearance modification stance it has. Live and let live. I particulary don't care if someone likes them or not them or not, but to harangue someone who does as being juvenile, puss ***, etc, is not what this forum is about. Have a great day

Unsolicited? Please... the OP himself stated that he thought most of what he saw looked bad, and asked us if any were good looking.

How else is one supposed to respond to that but with an opinion? If someone is going to have delicate sensibillities and worry about what others think, it's better that he go in to such a project knowing the prevailing attitudes, don't you think?

IMO, of course.
